Sportswomen of the Past
This fantastic gallery features vintage photos of women participating in baseball, boxing, tennis, bowling, and other recreational activities, like toboggan sledding. A person going sledding today would dress for warmth, but these fine women dressed for style. Fancy hats were practically mandatory at the time, and were also used as a place to store soap while bathing.
